Family Report Writing

Katherine is a highly experienced court-appointed Panel Family Consultant, also known as a Family Report Writer, Court Child Expert, or Family Consultant, who consults to the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. She specialises in writing short and long-form Family Court Reports and welcomes contact from legal firms or parents to write privately contracted reports for Family Court purposes. Katherine conducts reports in Victoria, New South Wales, the ACT, South Australia and Tasmania.

Katherine’s primary focus when writing a report is to make recommendations to ensure that the best interests of the child/ren are protected. She advocates for a child’s right to maintain a meaningful relationship with both parents after separation, ensuring that the safety and well-being of children are prioritised.

Katherine’s turnaround time for producing a Family Report is 14 days from the date of client interviews. More urgent reports are available via negotiation.
